Hello All~
BCPS is currently adding new "individualized" assessments in the area of Reading and Math. These will eventually replace the Benchmark and Short Cycle Tests. Soon, your student will come home and tell you about MAP testing. All students will complete computerized testing three times a year during Math and Language Arts.
We completed our first round of MAP testing and the second begins the first week of December. Don't forget to ask your child about the test and look for results to come home in January 2013.
Upcoming Testing:
12/3 thru 12/16 MAP testing in Math and Reading
January 31, 2013- NAEP - 8th graders only ( National Report Card on Progress)
MSA 2013- March 4- 13
Grade 6 Mathematics –3/4-3/5
Grade 6 Reading – 3/8-3/11
Grade 7 Mathematics – 3/6-3/7
Grade 7 Reading – 3/12-3/13
Grade 8 Mathematics – 3/12-3/13
